David Gilbert Advisory
I work with CEOs, boards, and leadership teams who need a clear, independent perspective when situations are complicated and the stakes are high.My role is simple:help leaders see the situation clearly, challenge hidden assumptions, and cut through the noise.Start a conversation

When leadership situations become complex, the difficulty is rarely a lack of information. More often, the challenge is seeing the situation clearly.Organizations accumulate assumptions, internal dynamics, competing incentives, and narratives about what is happening and what should be done. Over time, those narratives can blur the underlying dynamics.I work with leaders who want an independent perspective—someone outside the internal system who can help clarify the situation, identify what may be missing, and focus attention on what matters most. The goal is not to prescribe solutions. The goal is clarity—the kind that allows leaders to see what must be done and move forward with confidence.
My work is conversational, direct, and focused on clarity. I serve as a thinking partner for leaders and their teams.I typically engage with leaders in situations such as:
• a difficult strategic decision
• internal disagreement within a leadership team
• a sense that something important may be missing
• a complex challenge where the stakes are high and the path forward is unclear
In these conversations, I offer:
Independent Perspective
Because I am not part of the organization’s internal structure, I can see dynamics and assumptions that may be invisible from the inside.
Clear Thinking
Complex situations often produce noise, urgency, and competing narratives. My role is to help clarify what is actually happening.
Direct Conversation
Clarity requires openness. I aim to create conversations where important issues can be explored without unnecessary friction.
